Founded in 1920 by World War I veterans, Sigma Tau Gamma represents more than just a fraternity—it’s a lifelong brotherhood rooted in values and tradition. With over 75,000 members across 135 chapters, including the Gamma Xi Chapter at the University of Wisconsin – Platteville, our community is built on six guiding principles: Brotherhood, Learning, Leadership, Excellence, Citizenship, and Integrity. From our founding fathers to today’s members, Sigma Tau Gamma empowers men to grow, lead, and create a lasting legacy both on campus and beyond.
