Most of the Alumni money received is spent on general upkeep, repairs, remodeling, and specific improvements.  For example, in 1992/1993 a major remodeling took place.  Alumni and Actives worked together on a project list and created a blueprint for the project.  Reconstruction took place in the bathrooms, Blue Room, and the first floor bedroom.  Plaster and lathe were torn down, and carpet and linoleum were ripped out.  Old electrical wiring was replaced with all new electrical wiring and receptacles.  The new dry wall was installed along with new flooring, and painting of all new areas was completed.  Old windows were replaced with more energy efficient ones.  
The front beach was also torn out and replaced with new railing.
